juli...it's so hard not having our children grow up without our fathers, their grandfathers, whom we learned so much from. it sounds like your dad was quite the guy! and a handsome fella too! he had beautiful eyes! and i love white hair! probably b/c my dad had a headful too! and to fight cancer for 33 years! he was a fighter!
hope you are able to spend the evening remembering him with your kiddos!
You are carrying the mantle and you must know in your heart that he is with you every step. God bless and thanks for sharing.
