Boat Cruising

Some photos from our boat outing with the Schmidt's on Saturday. We cruised Lake Minnetonka and it was absolutely lovely!

All the sunfish coming up for cracker crumbs. Dan caught one in a bucket for the kids to check out.
Bailey and her cute sunglasses.
The "Minnehaha" is one of the old Excelsior Streetcar Line steamboats that cruised Lake Minnetonka between 1906 and 1925. It was sunk in the lake in 1926. In 1980 is was raised and restoration began. It now is a tour boat that cruises that lake. Unbelievably beautiful boat.

Annette and Bailey

Captain Dennis let each of the kids drive the boat. Louie LOVED it.
Carol and George (my kids think George is great! Carol wonders if they even know her name when he's around.)
One of the fine pieces of property on the lake.

One of the canals going back to the cove. It was really pretty. There were an ton of "for sale" signs.

And ladies: here's the recipe for the sinfully delicious chocolate brownies that we snacked on.
